01Experience

Software Engineering Intern

AntonX · Peshawar, Pakistan

2020 – 2022

  • Led a team of four engineers building custom mobile and web applications with React Native and Flutter, from analysis and design through delivery.
  • Translated client needs into a System Requirements Specification and UI/UX designs in Figma and Adobe XD, and ran design reviews with the principal architect.
  • Deployed applications to AWS, Azure and Google Cloud using Docker and CI/CD pipelines, with testing, vulnerability scans and security reviews built into each phase alongside QA.
  • Delivered projects on time and on budget, cutting development cost and timelines by about 25%, and introduced web based solutions that reduced clients' daily managerial work.

02Teaching

Lab assistant at the University of Victoria, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Summer 2026

SENG 499 · Design Project II

Lab Assistant and Project Client

  • Acted as client and lab TA for 34+ students across two engineering companies over three agile sprints.
  • Guided teams building an AI powered cyber security incident response platform (React, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, RAG/LLM) and advised on model, embedding, vector store and database trade-offs.
  • Advised on CI/CD and DevOps (GitLab, Docker, Docker Hub), reviewed sprint demos and graded system design, bias mitigation and accessibility.

Spring 2026

SENG 275 · Software Testing

Lab Assistant

  • Weekly labs on specification based, boundary, structural, property based and mutation testing, including code coverage.
  • Unit testing frameworks, test-driven development, mocks and test doubles.
  • Web testing with Selenium, database testing and security testing on real applications.

Fall 2025

SENG 265 · Software Development Methods

Lab Assistant

  • C programming with gcc, the memory model, pointers and dynamic memory allocation.
  • Python, object oriented design, unittest, and persistence with pickle and JSON; PyQt GUIs using MVC.
  • Git, Linux, shell and debugging through assignments that simulate real development.

Summer 2023, 2024

SENG 426 · Software Quality Engineering

Lab Assistant and Lab Designer

  • Designed every weekly lab for a 5 part project: CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Docker), Selenium automation, JMeter load testing, and security testing with ZAP and SonarQube.
  • Turned the instructor's requirements into step by step labs that teams of four followed to build and test a real web application.
